Features and Functionality
The application comes with a variety of customization features. By going to the “design” section within “Settings” you can alter the template of the invoice or add your company logo or any additional image or change the color or add a header or a watermark.
Invoice2go’s expense management feature is destined to save you time and money. Adding expenses is as easy as taking a photo and adding the cost to store.
You can accept online payments from your clients via a credit or debit card or even PayPal. This acts as a securer and faster way of receiving payments.
The home screen of the application provides a summary of the overdue, unpaid and unsent invoices along with other important financial data. The notifications section lists down the history of all the steps that you have taken while on the application along with suggestions.
In the premium packages, there is also support for payment reminders. You can automate the sending of reminders “on due date”, “3 days before due date”, “3 days after due date” or “7 days after due date”.
Invoice2go comes with smartphone applications for IOS and Android along with its web-based application which makes collaboration and mobility a seamless affair.
You can create different reports using Invoice2go; for example: sales by date, sales by client, payments by client, expense journal, profit loss and taxes etc. You can also select the tax year and toggle between monthly and quarterly views.
Ease of Use
Compared to other invoicing software, Invoice2go is fairly easy to use. It comes with a sidebar which provides easy access to the different sections of the application. Adding clients, creating invoices, storing expenses and sending credit memos are all fairly simple tasks. The design is also very simplistic, clean and user-friendly. If you have used an invoicing software in the past then getting adequately acquainted with Invoice2go shouldn’t take you long. The aforementioned is true for both the smartphone and web-app interfaces.

Invoice2go integrates with PayPal and Stripe seamlessly. There are a few other apps that Invoice2go integrates with, such as Kabbage, Xero, and Best Egg. They also offer partnership deals with other companies geared to help small businesses, such as 99designs and GoDaddy.
